2024 Scholarship Recipients
We are pleased to announce our recipients for the 2024 Fire Family Foundation Scholarship. Each recipient demonstrated a strong commitment to academics and community involvement. The recipients will be attending Pacific Lutheran University, University of Rhode Island, Simpson University, Vanguard University of Southern California, University of Tampa, Biola University, University of Alaska Fairbanks, Garden City Community College, San Diego State University and Augustana University.

I have felt quite inspired by Fire Family Foundation and by being a firefighter’s daughter myself. This scholarship will have an incredible impact on paying for my college education at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I am grateful to have a scholarship opportunity that was centered around my father’s career as a firefighter and how that has impacted my life. He has just retired after 34 years of service, and I hope to follow in his footsteps as a USCG Boatswain’s Mate on a Search and Rescue Vessel. I am currently in the Coast Guard Reserves while completing my degree and will be joining full time after college graduation.

The Fire Family Foundation scholarship has provided me with a comfort going into my next year of school knowing that I will have the ability to be more focused in my school work and student leadership positions rather than working more hours part time to support myself financially.
